Sh. Chandan Kumar Mondol, Director (Commercial), NTPC Ltd. visited NTPC Farakka for Project Review on 26th and 27th December 2022.

Shri Sanjiv Kumar, CGM NTPC Farakka along with GM(O&M), GM(Operation), GM(EMD and C&I), GM(Maint.), GM(ADM), HOHR and AGM(TS) welcomed Respected Sh. Chandan Kumar Mondol, Director (Commercial), NTPC Ltd. and Smt. Ilora Ghosh Mondol, Sr. Member Sanyukta Mahila Samiti at NTPC Farakka on 26th Dec 2022.

The visit commenced with a Plant Review meeting chaired by Director (Commercial), wherein he interacted with all the HODs regarding plant performance and critical issues. After the review meeting, he also interacted with the representatives of Unions and Executive Association. The same was followed by a visit to Unit 6 control room, wherein he interacted with the Operations executives.

On 27.12.2022, Director (Commercial) visited the New Two-Lane Bridge site for examining the ongoing construction, followed by visit to the Submersible Pump Scheme. He was accompanied by CGM Farakka, all senior GMs and other HODs. Later on, he inaugurated the new Fire Station Building, which was followed by tree plantation at ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav Udyan.’

A Cultural Evening was also organized on 26.12.2022 at Rabindra Bhawan in honor of Sh. Chandan Kumar Mondol, Director (Commercial), NTPC Ltd. and Smt. Ilora Ghosh Mondol, Sr. Member Sanyukta Mahila Samiti. Children from Tiny Tots & Bal Bhawan and the members of Udita Ladies Club allured the audience with their energetic and mesmerizing performances. Director (Commercial) addressed all the employees and their family members and praised the consistent efforts being put forward by the entire team of NTPC Farakka. He acknowledged the concerns and encouraged everyone to keep striving harder for reaching newer heights.
